1966-67 History

New Construction

"At their spring 1964 meeting, the university's trustees approved a new pharmacy building, the first in the west campus science complex. The ground breaking ceremony took place in October as part of that year's homecoming festivities. Despite the size and complexity of the project, the building was ready for occupancy at the beginning of spring quarter 1966. It was subsequently named for two Lehr-era pharmacy graduates, James D. Robertson and Thomas J. Evans, in recognition of their financial support of the
College of Pharmacy."
